How to remove yourself from Intelius

Last checked October 14, 2026

Intelius doesn't have its own opt-out anymore. It belongs to PeopleConnect, and one request in the PeopleConnect Suppression Center hides you on Intelius and its sister sites at the same time.

Opt-out page: suppression.peopleconnect.us/login
You'll need: Email address
How long: Intelius doesn't say.
Can it come back?: Partly. Your name can still show up in phone, address or email lookups.

Step by step

Go to intelius.com/opt-out. It sends you to the PeopleConnect Suppression Center.
Enter your email and open the verification link.
Suppress your Background Report.

Good to know

The same suppression also covers TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate and US Search.

Full details for the shared form are on the PeopleConnect opt-out page.

Then get it out of Google too

Opting out removes the listing from Intelius, but Google can keep showing an old copy for a while. Google's Results about you tool lets you ask for those results to be dropped, and it can tell you when new ones appear.

How we checked this

We read the steps on Intelius's own opt-out page and help article on October 14, 2026. Anything we couldn't see there is marked as coming from other guides.
